I am Samantha and I like to think a lot about weird little facts and futurism like ideas, what if...what if…

Currently I am in my graduating year in graphic and spatial design at akv st joost in den bosch. I really enjoy the atmosphere at the school and the inspiration it gives.
My interest in speculative design started when I was doing my minor arts and nature there and I discovered that it was not wrong to add the weird ideas about the future that were floating in my brain.

So my graduation project is going to be speculative as well. It's going to be about the possible “immorality” of humans and what it means for us to achieve this idea. 

My main interests in my project are mostly in speculative design and scifi oriented ideas.
By creating “what if” situations I try to create a dialogue for a current problem by showing a possible future.

My interest in topics are quite diverse but in general i work with themes such as: nature,technology,dystopian futures,scifi

My inspiration for this I get from various media like film/series, current events, design and a dose of my own daydreaming brain.
With this input I express my experiences and thoughts in working with diverse materials and make this into an installation/ experience that brings up a dialog for people to discuss.

With all of this I like to question myself and others how we as humans deal with an ever-changing future.
